Honeybee experience day. 31.08.25 - Dillington Farm Apiary, Ilminster 
 
The afternoon will include questions and answers about beekeeping, honeybees, bees in general and of course some basics of beekeeping. We then move to the hives once suited up and the safety brief is complete. This is a chance to open some hives, see the bees very close, maybe even spot the queen bee. You will be able to taste some honey straight from the hive as well. A complimentary jar of honey on your departure is a tasty and warming reminder of the time you have had with James and the bees.Our experience days are conducted in small groups. We provide bee suits and gloves, but you'll need to bring your own clean wellies. Please note that the visits are weather-dependent, and you'll receive confirmation 24 hours in advance. The session will last about 3 hours. We prioritize the health of our honeybees, and your safety is our top concern; we are fully insured. A disclaimer will be required, and unfortunately, those with bee allergies cannot participate.
