The ultimate South Street Honey experience day. 12th July 2025

South Street Honey - Townhouse visit day.
 
This, to be honest, is the ultimate experience day with James. You will be welcomed into his house where the whole South Street Honey story starts.
The day will start at 10am in Taunton. James will spend time talking about some of the beekeeping basics, and of course asking as many of your questions. You will then go into the townhouse garden and do a full hive inspection of the hives James has in his back garden, learning about some of the processes that go on at this busy time of year. 
We will then move onto one of the other apiaries, (it maybe one of our secret locations on Exmoor) where you will have a field lunch (provided by James) and then a full inspection of the location. Time allowing, we will then move onto another location. 
This really is the ultimate day with bees. You could be helping split hives, gathering honey supers, or even intrdoducing new queens to the mating nucs. 
 
Our experience days are conducted in small groups. We provide bee suits and gloves, but you'll need to bring your own clean wellies. Please note that the visits are weather-dependent, and you'll receive confirmation 24 hours in advance. 
 
Please also note you will need to bring all of your own refreshments and food.
 
Once booked we will be intouch closer to the time with the details of your day. This is a wonderful day with lots of learning and fun. Try not to get hooked!!!!!
