Welcome to our Bee Managed Services. We provide support to corporate businesses, individuals and institutions to enhance their sustainability programs across Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall.

We support a company’s or educational institute’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy by introducing bees on site at your office or school location, providing a fully managed beehive service, to improve your carbon footprint and green credentials.

By installing and managing honeybee hives on your sites, we support key sustainability goals:

• Environmental: Promoting local biodiversity through pollination and ecosystem support.

• Social: Engaging tenants and staff through wellbeing initiatives, workshops, and community events.

• Governance: Providing transparent, reportable impact data that aligns with your ESG and sustainability reporting.

Our fully managed service includes everything from hive installation and maintenance to educational engagement sessions—ensuring minimal effort on your part and maximum benefit for your environment and community.

As a unique added benefit, at the end of each season we’ll harvest and bottle your own site-branded honey, perfect for sharing with tenants, staff, or gifting to clients as a sustainable, local product.

Bees are vital to our ecosystem. Without bees, we wouldn’t have the food we eat; 35% of our food is pollinated by bees.

Sadly, due to an accumulation of social impacts including pesticides, climate change, habitat loss, bee colonies are diminishing at an alarming rate. Our Bee Managed Service provides initiatives to increase awareness in the community of the importance of bees, how we can support them and help improve our ecosystem.

By having a Bee Managed Services, as a company, school or individual you’ll be making an immediate impact on the local community, offsetting the social impact of your business.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We will assess your premises, to ensure it is suitable for bees. We will find a suitable site at your premises where bees can be placed.

We will work with you to communicate across your company the benefit of having bees on your site, ensuring all staff are comfortable about having bees and feel safe (including RAM’s, and insurance).

We will then deliver your bees and hives (minimum of 2) and make sure everything is secure.

Once everything is installed, the team will be responsible for regularly visiting your bees to inspect them.

We will manage your bees on your behalf – just sit back and watch! In the summer, the honey from the hive (normally on average between 30-60 jars, but could be more!) will be extracted, jarred and returned back to you so that you can give as gifts or sell on. 

With schools, we can set up a beekeeping club, instructing your staff and students at the same time. After a season, you should then have the confidence to go it alone!

Meet Your Bees
In addition we can provide a Meet the Bees Session, kitting out a group of staff in a bee-suit and taking you through the hive, so you get to handle your own bees.

Extraction Sessions
We provide an extraction session with clients or staff, working together to extract the honey and get a better understanding how vital this food is. Each participant leaves with their own jar of honey.

Corporate Logo on Honey Jars
We can provide your own  ‘Company Name Honey’ with corporate logo, if you prefer. Then you can use your jars of honey to gift to clients.

Education Presentation
We love to provide talks – this can be to your employees (or clients) on bees and how you are helping the local ecosystem.
