Honeybee experience 18th July 2026

£25.00Price

Honeybee experience afternoon - Dillington Estate Farm.

We meet in the yard at Dillington house and walk through the fields to the apiary, where we suit up, and get hands on with some of our colonies of honeybees.

We will talk about the life cycle, identify the different bees, taste honey straight from the frames, and hopefully find the queen.

Each visit is different, especially with the interaction from the group. No two are ever the same.

We can take children from the age of 6 as long as there is a parent accompanying them.

Our experience afternoons are conducted in small groups. We provide bee suits and gloves, but you'll need to bring your own wellies or walking boots. Please note that the visits are weather-dependent, and you'll receive confirmation 24 hours in advance. The ground is uneven, so please consider this before booking.

Please also note you will need to bring all of your own refreshments and food.

Once booked we will be in touch closer to the time with the details of your day. This is a wonderful day with lots of learning and fun. Try not to get hooked!!!!!
