Honeybee experience days

We are proud to be offering honeybee experience days in 2025. An afternoon with the bees starts with an informal learning time. Some basics of the honeybee and an insight into the kind beekeepers we are at South Street Honey. We then move into bee handling time. We will provide you with a beesuit and sting proof gloves (you will need to provide your won wellington boots) and we will, together, take some of the hives apart. You will get a chance to handle frames of bees, try and find the queen bee, and taste honey straight from the hive!! This, of course is weather dependant.
